Colonel Jill Morgenthaler, author of The Courage To Take Command: Leadership
Lessons From a Military Trailblazer, is a woman of many firsts. She was one of the first women to train as an
equal with men in college ROTC. She was
the first woman battalion commander in the 88th Regional Support Command; she
was the first woman brigade commander in the 84th Division; and she was the
first woman Homeland Security Advisor for the State of Illinois.
Today
Colonel Jill is regarded internationally as an expert in leadership, helping
others be the best leaders they can be.

Donna Kobzaruk is responsible for security
and life safety for the Midwest Region of JPMorgan Chase which consists of 10
states. Donna chairs Building Owners and Managers Association ("BOMA")
Emergency Preparedness Committee, is a member of Chicago OEM's Public Private
Sector Committee, a Council member of the ASIS Leadership and Management
Practices Council, and Secretary of ASIS Women in Security Council.
Recent awards include
BOMA's 2012 Board of Directors Award; and the 2014 ASIS Women in Security's
Karen Marquez Award. Donna earned her bachelor's degree at the University of
Illinois.

Corporation
Pyramid head for Kmart Corporation. Responsible for all Asset Protection and
Safety functions at 1,000+ units in US, Carribean and Pacific Islands. Duties include; providing strategic
direction and vision to the organization, development of 110+ Regional
Directors and District Managers as well as 2500+ store AP associates. She is accountable to the Chief Security
Officer for profit /EBITDA enhancement, driving sales, controlling WC/GL
frequency rates, risk mitigation, legal & regulatory compliance, training,
development, succession and career planning.
Ms. Lajeune has a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois,
Chicago.
Mara Waser, Senior Investigator

Mara
Wasar, CPP has been in the security industry for the past 39 years. Wasar
started her career as a volunteer for the Sauk Village Police department. From
1976 through 1994 held various Loss Prevention Management Positions at Carson
Pierre Scott, Lord and Taylor, Spiegel and Toys R Us. In 1994, Wasar became the Director of Loss
Prevention for Elek-Tek Computer stores based in Skokie Illinois. In 1996,
Wasar accepted a positon with SBC's Asset Protection Department at the time
known as a CellularOne, which transitioned to Cingular and now AT&T. Wasar
will celebrate 20 years' service with AT&T next year.
Wasar
was also a volunteer Leader for 15 years for ASIS International holding various
positions the last being Senior Regional Vice President.
