Illinois Concealed Carry Act-What Does it Mean and How
Does it Work?
Beginning January 5th, 2014, the Illinois State
Police will begin accepting applications for individuals to have the right to
carry a concealed weapon in Illinois. The Illinois Concealed Carry Act contains
a great amount of detail and a lot of questions as to how this process is going
to work. This presentation will review the ICCA including who is eligible and
who's not, what type of training is required, where's training available, the
application process, where you can and cannot legally carry a weapon, what you
can carry and what to expect as a result of this new legislation.
