Dr. Landon J. Wade
Dr. Landon J. Wade is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in law enforcement strategy, threat response, organized crime, counterterrorism, and executive security leadership.
With 26½ years of distinguished service on the Chicago Police Department—rising to the rank of Lieutenant—he commanded teams of up to 120 officers, designed high-profile protective strategies, authored innovative departmental strategies and policy.
He currently holds the role of Senior Manager of Security Services for a Fortune 100 company, where he directs enterprise-wide physical security, risk mitigation, and protective operations at scale.
His work earned a nomination for the company’s 2022 President’s Award.
Dr. Wade has been an international Expert training Law Enforcement officials and Prosecutors for the past ten years for 9 countries throughout the Eastern Caribbean.
Dr. Wade is the founder of Horizon Leadership Justice Institute LLC, a premier virtual justice academy and leadership consultancy.
As a certified career coach and certified law enforcement instructor, he provides executive coaching, leadership development, and specialized training to professionals across the public and private sectors.

He is an adjunct Criminal Justice Professor at Aurora University and is a paid public speaker with a credit for as Criminal Investigations Expert for a Cable TV Crime Documentary Series entitled Fatal Attraction.
